The ALC 1000 electronic controls are a menu-based system which allows the user to easily calibrate the machine and its parts. System diagnostics are available in many languages. There are dual fuel options available on the Z-80/60 unit. The optional Deutz diesel powered engine is quiet, but turbocharged. It allows for improved performance at higher altitudes. Additionally, it carries more than enough torque for better grade-ability and terrain.
The full-time positive traction and 4-wheel drive ability adds improved traction for tough terrain. The Z-135/70 just offers four-wheel steering. Optional features on this model comprise crab, coordinated, front wheel, and rear wheel steering to give the equipment more agility. on the Z-80/60 helps improve wheel contact on uneven ground. Genie's engine-powered articulating Z-booms are bigger compared to any other Genie models. They feature a continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs which are engineered to give the user a much better reach and range of motion. The Z-boom design gives the models exceptional over and up positioning capability which varies from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 model to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 model. The XChassis expanding axle is an ingeniously engineered device utilized for extending and retracting axles out and in of stowed position. The width of the Z-135/70 unit equipment is just 2.46 meters when the axle is stowed. For easier transport, the Z-80/60 has fixed width axles.
